No? Where I am from these things are spoken about and engaged in openly. My family on the other hand was quite...traditional. I discovered things a little later in life.

[He's not sure why he's sharing that, but takes a sip of his tea to stop himself from oversharing. Though the other man did see him disrobed, so perhaps that supersedes everything? But it wasn't the least bit intimate, at least.]

Well, it does depend on the environment, I suppose. Back in the Northern Water Tribe, we tend to keep things like that behind closed doors, but Republic City can be a little bit looser depending on what company you're keeping.

I don't think it's quite as extreme as putting intoxicants in chocolate that make you really want to hold people's hands, though.

I would have less to complain about if it was simply hand holding. Either way, it is not the way I would treat visitors to a new planet.
