A pleasant enough girl to speak with, though I'll admit that I haven't talked with her as much as I'd like. Well, I am a busy man, I suppose. She seemed more interested in the political goings on of Republic City than I would generally expect of someone her age, which is pretty promising. History students tend to do well, don't they?

...I'm not sure if I was expecting her to snap like that, but she seemed to be the kind of person to keep everything under wraps. I don't think anyone would've seen it coming. It was easier to see her executed than Caren, I suppose. I am a bit worried about those creatures of hers, though...

Well, this member of law enforcement is a lot easier to get along with than Chief Beifong, isn't he? I honestly have to wonder what would happen if they ever interacted. He might be a little too sentimental to be as effective as he should be, though... perhaps she'd get on with him about as well as she does Tenzin.

In a sane, reasonable system, she'd barely get a sentence for what she did. I don't think she made the wisest decision, and I can understand that there needed to be some consequences for taking a life... but that was really too harsh.

Honestly, I can't help but sympathize with what he was attempting to do, but the way he went about it was extremely ill-advised. He should've at least worked out a plan with someone he could confirm was a human before going around at night and accosting people. I wonder where he'd be if he'd just broken his neck trying to swing around on duct tape... well, that's what I kind of thought had happened when we saw the body, anyway.

I don't know what to make of Alena, in all honestly. Her behavior during executions is a bit odd, and there seem to be some hints that she's more sympathetic to us than Jericho, at the very least. I haven't spoken to her privately to get a more personal read, but... perhaps I should do that.
